No game for the firsts this weekend due to a bye in the Swalec Plate, the Seconds played home to Llanishen and played some sparkling rugby in a 47-15 win. Tries for Scott Britton, Ian Morris, Phil Morse (playing at 9!), Jason Mathias, Luke on debut, skipper Dan Molcher and Neil Dallimore.Dai Hughes rolled back the years with a perfect 5 from 5 kicking display and Dan Molcher converted his own try in the second half.
On Sunday the minis trained while the under 8s took on Llanrumney - a sign of the growing numbers was the Illts splitting into 2 teams to take on the visitors, with both sides playing some great rugby. The under 16s had a tough test away at Cwmbran, and after a bad first half battled really well for the remainder of the match. Well done boys.
This weekend the first team return to league action at home to Pontyclun. On Sunday the under 16s are home to Bargoed (KO 11am at Moorland) while the minis travel to play Canton (KO 10am) - please come and support if you can.
