No nominations for existing roles received, John Manders (JM) to continue as Chair, Adam Taylor (AT) as Secretary, Andrew Maunder (AM) as Treasurer. AM nominated Phil Morse to formalise role as VC, seconded by JM and approved unanimously.
JM reported it had been a difficult few years, impact of COVID meant lost youth team, aging squad with low numbers has made things extremely difficult, at times this season even getting a team on the pitch has been a struggle, with not all fixtures played after Christmas. JM noted on record what a good job Joe Poole has done as Captain over the last couple of seasons in the face of real adversity.

Very ambitious, signs are positive so far. 6 players have signed with 4 more still to come. Pre season starts Wednesday 5th July.

Pre season meeting with players on Saturday 1st July and pre season away game and bonding trip at Loughor on 25th August
Importance of recruitment of players highlighted. Some members wondered if they could help, Ken Poole agreed to form a sub committee to look at player recruitment through a number of lenses. Make up of sub-committee tbc.
AM reported on M&J section, some excellent success in particular Cardiff Cup Shield win for U13s at CAP and U12s winning Rhymney Festival. Good numbers in these 2 age groups and younger age groups in particular. A struggle at the U15 age group who are low on numbers, club will do all they can to support this age group.
AM presented draft accounts for year ended 31 May 2023. Although overall position healthy facing into difficult time due to energy prices at the Library. Kit and training costs for growing mini section highlight importance of sposnosrship. Tony Berridge (TB) enquired about Vice Prseidents Scheme, AM confirmed only 4. TB requested more info to be sent as some of his peer group would be able to support, AM happy to send Tony details.
